How the Palworld 1.0 calculator works

Most pairs are decided by averaging the parents' hidden breeding ranks. Special combos and same-Pal breeding are checked first because they follow their own rules.

1

Start with what you know

Enter two parents you already own, or choose the offspring you are trying to hatch.

2

Check the exceptions

The calculator looks for a listed special combo before using the normal rank calculation.

3

Read the result badge

The badge tells you whether the pair is a special combo, a same-Pal result or a rank calculation.

Why the version matters

What changed in Palworld 1.0 breeding

The full release added Pals and changed the breeding table, so an old spreadsheet can give you the wrong egg even when the pair used to work.

!
Check the date before baking another cake.

This build has 299 selectable Pals and 136 listed special combos. Astralym is recorded in the data, but it is not available as a parent because its breeding status is still unconfirmed.

Result badges

Know how the answer was found

You do not need to learn the whole formula to use the tool. Just check the badge beside the result when a pair matters to your route.

Verified special combo

The two parents are listed as a specific 1.0 combination that overrides the normal rank rule.

Calculated by rank

The result comes from averaging both parent ranks and selecting the nearest eligible Pal.

Same-Pal result

Breeding a Pal with the same Pal returns that species.

Plan around your Palbox

Plan a breeding route without wasting cake

Search for the Pal you want, compare the direct pairs, and start with parents you already have. A route that looks longer on paper can still save time if it avoids another capture.

Use Pals you already own

Reusing a leveled or trait-ready parent is often faster than chasing the perfect theoretical pair.

Watch for special combos

A listed special pair beats the rank calculation, so do not skip the badge.

Check again after a patch

If the game updates, compare the patch date with the date shown at the top of the page.

Quick answers

Questions players ask about the calculator

Is this calculator up to date for Palworld 1.0?

Yes. It uses the 1.0.0 breeding data checked on July 13, 2026, including 299 breedable Pals and the Terraria crossover roster.

What is the difference between verified and calculated results?

Verified results are special combos listed in the 1.0 data. Calculated results use the normal breeding-rank rule. The badge beside each result tells you which one you are looking at.

Does this calculator include mutations and inherited traits?

No. It tells you which species should hatch. Stats, passives and mutations are separate rolls and are not included in the result.

Why can Katress and Wixen produce two different Pals?

Their result depends on which parent is male and which is female. Choose the gender route shown in the calculator to switch between Katress Ignis and Wixen Noct.

Can I select Astralym as a parent?

No. Astralym is present in the 1.0 roster data, but its breeding status is still unconfirmed, so it stays out of the parent list for now.
